Changed my rating from 5 stars to 3. The game used to be great to play before (I'm talking 2018-2020, when i was a regular). Now it's annoying to play free with the constant popups to watch ads for or buy gems (not to mention the story experience isn't great without choosing atleast half the premium choices that come up). There is still a wide variety of stories available, although there's also a clear bend towards romance and the erotic in a lot of them. Pixelberry, I expected better from you.

Some stories are fantastic, some are mid and lowkey deeply problematic in a way that's never narratively challenged. (Also, raise your hand if you're a little tired of them squeezing in a bdsm exploration chapter and that red dungeon setting into every other 17+ story). But that's storytelling: the real issue is how obnoxious the ads they allow are (multiple screens, multiple clicks, often running over 60 seconds!) AND using AI art? Whack. Finally-- WHY is it so hard to verticle scroll in UI?

I thought it was one of the best visual novel games. It's easy to get diamonds for premium choices - even easier if you're a VIP member like I was - has a variety of stories with some fun, raunchy nonsense, others more compelling. However, there is one big drawback for me: the visual aspect of this visual novel game is compromised of AI images. It feels very off to put these things behind a pay wall, much less to even use them while profitting. Now I question whether the writing is AI as well.
